Days after actor Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson left a comment of support for Joe Rogan, said support has seemingly now been pulled back after social media users rabidly attacked Johnson for the comments.

The modern left and their cancel-culture bandits have been relentless over the past few weeks going after Rogan and his podcast, but now simply going after Rogan isn’t enough for the mob any longer – they’re also going after any celebrity or public figure that lends an iota of support to Rogan.
Back in late January, Rogan posted a video online where he said that he was going to work with Spotify to ensure content advisories were applied to episodes of his podcast that some (a.k.a., the mainstream media) would deem “controversial.”
The video was posted to Twitter, which Johnson had lent a supportive comment to Rogan’s video and even voiced a desire to appear on an episode some time.
“Great stuff here brother. Perfectly articulated. Look forward to coming on one day and breaking out the tequila with you.”

In the days following Johnson’s rather innocuous comment, rabid leftists identifying as fans of Johnson began to constantly badger him about this one little comment – with many people claiming that Johnson was supporting a “racist.”
In case you’ve missed out on the evolving cancellation efforts of Rogan, the narrative has now shifted from “misinformation” to “Rogan is a racist.”
Much of the hubbub around Johnson’s Twitter comment was initially stirred by former USA Today columnist Cheri Jacobus, the woman fired from the outlet in 2018 for suggesting that Trump ally Michael Caputo’s young daughters should be raped “at the Epstein parties.”
On February 3rd, Johnson took to Twitter after being tagged by Jacobus multiple times about the comment he left on Rogan’s video, writing, “Hi Cheri, Good morning, it’s DJ. You’re all over my timeline so I wanted to share some context with you so hopefully, you’re no longer triggered by headlines you read. I thought his response was contrite and more importantly, open to change to becoming better.”
But apparently the harassment over a simple comment didn’t stop, and the expected eventually happened – Johnson caved to the social media mob after author Don Winslow got aboard the “Rogan is racist” train.
“Dear [Don Winslow], Thank you so much for this I hear you as well as everyone here 100% I was not aware of his N word use prior to my comments, but now I’ve become educated to his complete narrative. Learning moment for me. Mahalo, brother and have a great & productive weekend. DJ”

The irony in all this is that now Johnson is caught up in the apology vortex, because now he’s being accused of being a misogynist on Twitter because he called Jacobus “triggered” a day before his most recent take on the Rogan debacle.
